How much training is needed for Everest Base Camp Trek?

The average day walk during Everest Base Camp Trek is 9.5 miles(15km) per day, requiring 5-7 hours of hike.  So, it is nice to have your body well prepared for the trek ahead. We would advise you to do some jogging in your homeland for at least 55 minutes for a few days. Training will bring you to shape for some months, depending on your fitness level.
