Kathmandu to Ghalegaun

On the first day of this tour, we start driving from Kathmandu to reach Ghale Gaun, 186km away from Kathmandu. The drive is scenic, beautiful and satisfying. As you go to Besisahar, you can take the local bus to reach Ghalegaun or let us manage private Jeeps from Besisahar to Ghalegaun. This is 02 Hours road drive. Ghale Gaun to Pokhara

We wake up early to savour all the enriching views of sunrise from a nearby hill. After a unique sunrise experience, return to the homestay for breakfast. Upon having a delicious breakfast, we check out from the homestay and then continue our walk to Bhujung for 02 hours, of course, the largest Gurung village of Lamjung.  This 02 Hours hike is fulfilling as the setting of Himalayan view, barren and green landscapes, Tea garden, and local style of living are all admirable. After having lunch at Bhujung, we drive back to Besisahar via Ghalegaun. Then from Besisahar, we go back to Pokhara. Hotel Check-in at Pokhara with Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03

Pokhara Sightseeing and Drive to Bandipur

On day third of this tour, we engage in full day Pokhara sightseeing, including Boating at Fewa, Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, World Peace Pagoda, and International Mountain Museum. All these mentioned sightseeing is not possible in a single day; it is just that you can choose from different sightseeing points here in Pokhara. After a fulfilling sightseeing experience, we then drive to Bandipur, which is 3.5 hours drive. We reach Bandipur in the late evening, will check in at the hotel and stay overnight in the beautiful Bandipur Bazaar. In the evening time, you can roam around the bazaar of Bandipur.

Bandipur to Kathmandu

Upon having breakfast at hotel, we will do Bandipur sightseeing of  Tundikhel, Siddha Cave(Asia’a largest Cave). We will explore the cave and then hike to Bimalnagar. From Bimalnagar, we drive back to Kathmandu.

This journey is suited for all ages, from children to the elderly. It is not essential to have any prior experience.

Will there be someone to meet me at the airport when I arrive?

Yes, you will be greeted by a Raconteur Adventure representative outside of Terminal Hall. He'll be holding your name on a Raconteur Adventure name card. After that, you will be taken to the hotel of your choice.

What is the Visa application process and how much does a Visa cost? Should we apply for the visa in our home country or at the airport in Nepal? What papers do I need to bring with me?

You can obtain a visa upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport; however, it would be more convenient if you complete the visa application online (http://online.nepalimmigration.gov.np/tourist-visa) prior to flying to Nepal. Fees for admission into Nepal are now $ 25 for a 15-day visa, $ 40 for a 30-day visa, and $ 100 for a three-month visa.
You should carry the following documents with you on your trip:
Passport must be valid for at least six months.
