- Pashupatinath(UNESCO Site)
Pashupatinath translates to “the god of animals”. As per Hindu mythology, this intriguing temple, as Hindu mythology, is believed to be the head of the body of Lord Shiva that is scattered among 12 places in India. Two hundred seventy-five abodes of Lord Shiva and beautiful arts carved around the temple make it the rich destination in Kathmandu. This temple is also the most potent temple, mythology suggests. For a touristic eye, a cremation ceremony taking place at banks of the holy river, Bagmati and stone and carved wooden arts in most of the part of the Pashupatinath makes your every second worthwhile.

Boudhanath signifies inner peace and salvation; in fact, all religions are the gateway to inner peace. At the outer skirt of Kathmandu, Boudhanath is one of the largest dome-shaped stupas in the world. Beautifully crafted arts and the architecture on which the Stupa stands is a feast achieved in the 14th century. Bouddhanath Stupa has many legends, and some of them suggest that Stupa has the tomb of remains of Kassapa Buddha. For a traveller visiting the site, Stupa itself is satisfying and beautiful.
