Where is Shivapuri?

Shivapuri Region is under Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park (1350m-2732m), has domination of rich vegetation of pine, oak-rhododendron, hardwood trees, hundreds of other flora and fauna. Muhan Pokhari is the entrance point of Shivapuri Nagrajun National Park. There is an army checkpoint in Muhan Pokhari, where you and your belonging will be checked to ensure no such material enters the park that can potentially harm the nature inside.

After registration, check-up, the long and enthralling cycling trail waits ahead. It is almost 5 hours cycling to reach Mulkharka from Budanilkantha, and it is the uphill trail in this route. Starting from Muhan Pokhari, it will take 3 hours to get Tarebhir. Upon reaching Tarebhir, you need to go straight to reach Mulkharka. Taking left from Tarebhir will take you to the peak of Shivapuri, but mind you, there are no cycling trails here. We will start cycling from Siphal to Pashupatinath temple, this cycling will be relatively short that of 15 minutes. Then, we will take a walk around the Pashupatinath temple for about 30-40 minutes.
