Itinerary Overview, Karnali Rafting

We drive 20-22 hours to Kalyandanda from Kathmandu via Birendranagar, Surkhet. There is also an alternate to reach here,  can take the flight to Nepalgunj from Kathmandu. The flight will cost you extra, and upon reaching Nepalgunj, we drive to Karelaghat, our put-in point for the trek, or drive to the new put-in point at Dungeshwor. Rafting is 6-7 days long and covers a distance of 180km. As 6-7 hours of trekking ends, we will drive to Chisapani, the take-out point of this Karnali rafting. Then we will drive back to either Kathmandu (15 hours) or Pokhara(10-12 hours). Another option is to drive to Nepalgunj from Bardiya and fly back to Kathmandu.

Then, we will introduce you to the guide, Trip leader, trip staff, and other guests. We will gather your required details necessary for formalities, discuss the trip, timetable and do’s, don’ts of this rafting.

Raconteur Adventure is already with logistics and takes all necessary precautions for your safety. You have a team of licensed guides with many years of experience in white water rafting. All field staffs are well trained in CPR, First Aid and other river rescue techniques.
