Kanchenjunga region is another affluent area of Nepal where you can take advantage of a complete and fulfilling trek experience. The conservation area is spread across 2035 sq. km and is a tri-national peace park of Tibet, China in the north, Sikkim, India in the west and Nepal in the east.

Your overall trek experience becomes wholesome with a view of mountains and peaks, including Yalung Kang(8,505m), Kambachen(7,903m), Jannu(7,710m), Jongsong(7,483m), Kabru(7,353m), Tent Peak(7,365m) and the Twins(7,350m).
The region allures you even more with 23 species of rhododendron blooming in different colours. There are 250 species of birds and other exotic animals. You don’t need expedition skills to trek in the region of Kanchenjunga, but a fit body is a must. Unlike other areas, the Kanchenjunga region has fewer lodges and tea houses for accommodation and comfort needs. So, we Raconteur Adventure mostly organise treks with camping gear too.
Trekking trail in the Kanchenjunga region is more rocky and rugged; humans’ settlement is thin, and the monsoon is heavy.
