Itinerary Overview

On your first day of the itinerary, you arrive here in Kathmandu and drive to Bhaktapur, an ancient artistic town. We will drive to Namobuddha and stay overnight on the second day. On day third of our trek, we will drive to Timbu(1580m) from Namobudda and stay overnight. Then on the fifth day of the trek, we will trek to Tarkeghyang(2600m) from Timbu which is 06 hours trek. We will reach Shermathang(2621m), Ama Yangri on the sixth day of the trek which is 05 hours trek. Then on day seven, we will trek back and drive to Kathmandu. On day eight, we will do Kathmandu Sightseeing and host a farewell dinner in Kathmandu. Day 09 is the departure day. Ama Yangri Trek is not a difficult trek at all.

Difficulty

This trek is a medium-hard trek as the route to the peak is difficult being near vertical. The trail is slippery too. But beyond these, the trail is smooth and is nice to get an experience of. Trekking Trail, Overview

Trailhead is Syabrubesi from where we trek to Kyanjin Gompa in Langtang. We then will continue to Tarke Gyang in Helambu. Then as the altitude crosses 5106m, our near trek to Ganja La Pass starts. We cross Langtang Khola River below Kyanjin Gompa and continue a steep ascend trek to the south side of the valley along the ridge. Then we continue to reach the village passing through colorful and contrasting forests of juniper and rhododendron. We continue south, following the trail of moraines and stream and climbing up steeply to the pass. Itinerary Overview of Gosaikunda Trek

The first day will include your arrival at Kathmandu and settling in a star category hotel in Kathmandu.
