Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara(827m)

We and our guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drive you to Pokhara from Kathmandu. The distance between Kathmandu and Pokhara is 200km. This scenic drive along with the Nepalese greenery setting and Trishuli river bank. Trishuli river flows to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, please check into your accommodation and enjoy the rest of your time on your own. If you wish, you can take a walk along Pokhara’s colourful streets at the bank of Lake Phewa.

Drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur Khola and Hike to Kalikasthan(1370m)

Breakfast at Kalikasthan, and then we continue hiking through villages, continuing the walk via Thulokot and to Mati Thana. In Mati thana, there are some tea shops. From Mati thana, we then continue our ascending to Naudanda. The journey continues through the mountains’ crest, which offers some stunning views of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Lamjung. Then we make a short steep ascend through the forest to reach the amicable Gurung settlement of Syaklung. You can now explore Gurung settlement, the rich and greener setting of rhododendrons and, course the local cuisine.

01 Hour

We leave Syaklung Gurung village; we continue this adventurous journey to Chisapani. Then, we continue playing hide and seek with rhododendron and Sal trees. We hike for 400m in the lovely setting of the forest and will ascend another 600m to reach Chisapani. You will encounter a small temple on a high hill above the Chisapani hamlet. Chisapani Danda/Ridge lies here and is the most excellent viewpoint for viewing a beautiful Himalayan panorama. Mt. Dhaulagiri is also seen from here to the west of Annapurna.  Overnight in Chisapani.

Day 05

Hiking duration- 05 Hours

Day 05 is the actual last day of the Royal Trek. We will reach Pokhara on this day. The route initially takes you through terrace fields for half an hour before climbing up on a stone step to a tiny valley near Rupa Tal. We continue again through the rice field for a short time before climbing the ridge that divides Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake. Then, we descend from the mountain to Begnas lake and drive to Pokhara for 30 Minutes.

What is the price of The Royal Trek?

The Royal Walk costs between $400 and $1400 depending on the number of days you want to trek. The longer the journey, the higher the cost. Similarly, the cost will vary depending on the type of lodging chosen. Nature Lovers Treks and Tours often offers a full package that includes all costs and expenses for the whole voyage, from the time you arrive in Nepal to the time you depart. However, you can opt to purchase simply a service-based package from us, in which case we will provide you with only the supporting field crew and trekking permits, and you will be responsible for the rest.

What is the quality of the lodging during the Royal Trek?

We will provide teahouse accommodations on the Royal Trek. A teahouse is a mountain lodge that combines a lodge or guest house with a restaurant or café with modest furnishings and décor appropriate for social gatherings. Many teahouses also have restrooms and a central heating furnace. These days, some teahouses have European toilets, whereas all teahouses have Asian toilets. Sleeping blankets are normally given, however we recommend bringing your own sleeping bags for sanitary reasons. This can be done on request. However, it is preferable to bring your own amenities, including towels.

What permits do I require for The Royal Trek?

ACAP permit (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) and TIMS Card (Trekkers' Information Management System) are required for The Royal Trek.

How does Nepal's tipping system operate, and am I required to tip?

Tipping is not required for The Royal Trek, but it is a nice way to express your thanks and appreciation. Because we care about our field workers, we expect you to look after them in exchange for them looking after you during your adventure.
