Am I going to get altitude sickness at GAnja la Pass?

Well, the Ganja la pass trek is over 3500 m in elevation. There are possibilities of having altitude sickness. it usually happens at this altitude above 3500m. for this prevention, we have planned an itinerary that gives you time to acclimatize the Trail.

Is the water of Ganja la pass safe to drink?

No, you are not allowed to drink water directly from the lake or any tap, besides you can use water purifier tablets or Just boiled water.

What about the first aid and medication kits?

Yes, we give first aid at the trek, we always take the first aid kit with us.

Do I have to bring tents and mattress with me?

No, as there are Hotels and tea Houses you don't need to bring them with you.

What happens if emergency evacuation is required?

If you get into any trouble. We will be able to collect your travel insurance policies and details before your trip. we will be able to coordinate with your insurance company and provide you with the evacuation helicopter.

How tough is Ganja La Pass trekking?

The journey's difficulty level is totally determined by the trek you choose.
If this is your first time trekking, or if your physical condition prevents you from doing so (due to age or other medical concerns), you may always opt for simple treks.
Easy hikes feature fewer days, less distance to cover in a day, and generally lower heights. You do not need any prior expertise or knowledge to journey to these locations.

If you are an explorer searching for a thrill, there are several possibilities available to you. Difficult journeys last for a longer period of time. On average, you will have to walk for 5-7 hours every day, and these treks are generally located at high altitudes. These hikes also need a high level of physical fitness.

Trekking, unlike other products, is not about getting more for less. The level of difficulty has nothing to do with the amount of experience you may obtain from a journey.

Go for what you desire and what your physical abilities enable you to do. Do not overexert yourself. Trekking is not a sport to be competed in. It's time to unwind.

How much does hiking cost?

This is totally dependent on how much money you are willing to spend on your journey. You may journey in style by spending a lot of money, or you can backpack. It all depends on how much money you have in your bank account.
You may obtain a room for as little as $3-4 per night or as much as $60-1004 per night at premium resorts. A lunch will cost you no more than $10 on average. If you're searching for a cheap supper, you can get three for ten dollars! However, dining at such establishments comes at a high cost in terms of hygiene.
In conclusion, Nepal is not an expensive tourist destination. It is most likely one of the sites where you may enjoy the most affordable luxury trek in comparison to what a luxury trip would cost in your home nation!

What preparations should I undertake before to my trek?

Before embarking on a walk, it is generally a good idea to engage in some physical activity. Trekking does not need a high level of athleticism or muscularity. The travel will be less stressful if you are physically healthy.

While trekking, aching muscles, blisters, joint pain, and back pain can be quite painful. If you workout beforehand, this is unlikely to happen.
Begin working out at least a month before the hike. Cardio workouts include running, jogging, long walks, cycling, and swimming. To get acclimated to it, bring a light backpack with you. Workouts in the gym might also be beneficial. Just don't go overboard.
If you're going on a short hike, you don't need to be in great shape. However, previous exercise is still a viable alternative. You will only make your travel more pleasant.

What should I bring?

Trekking necessitates a comprehensive list of supplies. The items you bring with you might have an impact on your overall trip experience. So, while buying any equipment, make no compromises in terms of quality or brand.

Do I need special authorization to go trekking?

Trekking permits are not required for any of the treks in the Everest area, the Annapurna region, or the Langtang region. However, if you want to visit a conservation area or a national park, you must pay an entrance charge.

Trekking permits are required for trekking in restricted areas. The permits may be purchased at the Immigration Department in Kathmandu's Dillibazaar. For further details, please see-

http://www.taan.org.np/pages/trekking-permit-fees

Is drinking water easily accessible?

The availability of drinking water is not an issue. The issue is that it is more expensive at higher altitudes. As you climb in altitude, the cost of water jumps to around $2 per liter.

Water bottles can be filled at tea shops as an alternative method of obtaining drinking water. Tea shops will charge you around 0.4-0.7$ per liter for boiling water. They are absolutely safe to consume.

As a result, don't forget to bring at least two water bottles.

What type of meals is accessible while trekking?

While trekking, food is unimportant. You will be able to sample a variety of cuisines. Tea establishments will provide you eggs prepared in your desired way, as well as pan cakes, bread butter, roti, and other breakfast items.

her options include pizza, spaghetti, momo, chowmein, and a variety of other foods. Dal Bhaat is the most popular dish. It's a traditional Nepalese dish. Rice is accompanied by vegetable curry, lentils, tomato chutney, and meat curry. The greatest part is that an extra helping will not cost you anything more! The dish is really nutritious. It will help keep you energized throughout lengthy treks.

What type of accommodations can I expect?

The sort of hiking you choose will determine your lodging. Trekking is classified into two sorts.

1. Tea houses:

You will spend the night at tea houses. Tea houses are small lodges and motels in the area. They are little and somewhat comfy. Most rooms include two tiny cots with mattresses, pillows, and linens. You may always ask for extra blankets if you need them. The rooms include an adjoining bathroom with a western flush toilet and a shower. You will be charged for a hot shower and electricity.

Dormitories are also available at a very modest price of roughly $3-4 per night. These are equipped with shared toilets and facilities.

The cleanliness of the rooms may not meet your standards. If possible, bring your own pillow. Conjunctivitis is a frequent illness that you may contract.

2. Camp Treks

You will spend your nights in tented campgrounds in this style. Such treks are mainly found in limited areas. There aren't enough amenities in these areas to support a large number of people.

What are the potential dangers of trekking?

Trekking is a demanding activity that entails several dangers. Avalanche, strong rainfall, earthquake, landslide, and other natural disasters are all inherent dangers.

You may trip and harm yourself, or you could develop a viral illness. The most dangerous aspect of trekking is AMS, or Acute Mountain Sickness. This illness happens when a high altitude is reached and the body fails to acclimatize to the shifting pressures. Anyone can become a victim of the illness, and if not treated promptly, it can be fatal.

What is the best way to avoid Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)?

There is nothing you can do to get your body ready for altitude sickness. However, you can avoid it by taking a few precautions. They are as follows:
-Gradually and steadily increase your height.
-Reduce the amount of walking hours and walk slowly as you approach 2000 meters.
-Consume lots of water.
-Get plenty of rest. Rest more if your body seems to be requesting it.
-Consume high-calorie foods.
-Smoking and drinking should be avoided.

How is AMS diagnosed?

You must be aware of the signs of AMS in order to recognize it. They are as follows:
-Headache
-Vomiting and nausea
-Dizziness
-Tiredness
-Appetite loss
-Stomach ache
-Feeling shaky
-Breathing difficulty
-Heart rate has increased.
-Sleeping problems

If you observe any of the signs, take the following precautions right away:

-For the following 48 hours, do not go any higher.
-If feasible, descend to a lower height.
-Rest completely till you feel better.
-Don't work out.
-You must not smoke.
-Consume lots of water.
-If required, use an external oxygen source.
-Take anti-nausea medication.

If your health does not improve during the following 48 hours, you will be deported to Kathmandu via helicopter. As a result, don't forget to purchase insurance to cover the expense of helicopter reuse.

Do I need to hire a guide/porter to go on a trek?

There is no hard and fast guideline that you must follow. However, it is strongly advised that you travel with them. Some treks cannot be completed without the assistance of a guide, and the majority of them are limited.

A guide is someone who can assist you with navigation. He will also have a better notion of where to live and dine, and he will be able to negotiate pricing for you. They will also assist you in the event of a medical emergency.
A porter is someone who will carry your load for you so you may go for lengthy hikes.
If you employ them, you are totally responsible for supplying them with hiking equipment, food and lodging, and any other medical needs.

These days, you may also hire a guide/porter. These are individuals that serve as both a guide and a porter. Hiring them will save you from incurring unnecessary expenses.

Can I trek Solo?

Yes, in certain locations. However, walking alone in the restricted region is strictly prohibited. You'll have to hike in a group.

Many individuals have trekked alone in Nepal and had a fantastic time. Trekking alone offers its own set of advantages. You will not have to change your schedule to accommodate anyone. You can also choose your own path if you like. It's also fairly easy to navigate your way about, especially in the unrestricted areas. The paths are well-marked and rather straight.

Solo trekkers are extremely safe in Nepal. However, you will have to be a little more cautious while traveling alone.

What is the difference between hiking individually and trekking with an agency?

Trekking solo entails traveling without the assistance of a guide. If you wish to, you can hire a guide or a porter. You may also have a hiking companion. However, the entire journey is dependent on the path you choose.

Treks arranged by agencies will have a well-planned timetable created for you, which you must rigorously adhere to. You will most likely be traveling in a group. You will also be provided with a guide and a porter by the agency. Trekking with an agency will cost somewhat more than trekking independently or solo.

When is the ideal time to go trekking in Nepal?

Every season has its own distinct charm. The ideal seasons, however, are spring (April to May) and fall (September to November).

Nepal receives the greatest number of visitors that come to trek during these two seasons. This is the busiest time of year. The weather is really lovely and ideal for lengthy walks. The paths are bursting at the seams with new leaves and flowers. The beautiful sky provide an excellent view of the spectacular Himalayas.
