Raconteur Adventure is a trekking company registered under the laws of the Nepal Government. Raconteur accepts reservations and booking under the following terms and conditions. Terms and conditions mentioned here are necessary to be known by trekkers, travellers, mountaineers and all travellers. Please read the terms and conditions carefully.

Our well trained and ready to serve team will send you the reply with enthusiasm as soon as possible. You can pay us with cash hand to hand, VISA Card, Master Card and you can also swift transfer the amount to our company’s bank account. A surcharge of 3.5% of payment is done with a credit card. For confirming your adventure booking, Raconteur Adventure requires at least 30% non-refundable* payment to confirm your booking. Other remaining payments can be cleared when we meet in Kathmandu.
Cancelling any trip or adventure will lose you money if cancellation is not called under Raconteur Adventure’s terms and conditions. You can postpone the trip but wait for more charge in overall tour/trek packages if you wish. The additional cost incurred in cancellation and delay of the trip is subject to change as per travel conditions and other factors, including Force Majeure.
During your adventure journey, including trekking or expeditions, safari tour, white water rafting, road travel, or during the trip in other modes of transport, limited risks, illness or accidents might happen because of the following reasons;
Travel Insurance is not included in our tour or adventure packages. We make every effort to ensure that our guests are safe. So, you must have international travel insurance. As travelling sometimes becomes challenging with many unforeseen situations, we advise checking our cancellation policy beforehand. We also encourage you to opt for a medical insurance policy covering transportation and even a helicopter for evacuation. Medical Insurance at any cost should not be avoided if you are travelling in high altitudes.
