Kathmandu Bhaktapur one day cycling of Raconteur is a total of 3 hours cycling. We will gather at a hotel in Thamel or Babarmahal and will commence our cycling journey to Basantapur Durbar Square. Ride to Basantapur Durbar Square is just 15 minutes and covers a total area of approx. 2 km. We will do some sightseeing at Durbar Square and will continue to Boudhanath which will take 45 minutes and the total distance covered is 6.5km approx. We will roam around Boudhanath Stupa, have lunch/breakfast, and will continue to Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is around 1 hour and 30 minutes cycling with a total distance of 13.5 km.

We will commence cycling from Thamel and reach Basantapur Durbar Square within 15 minutes with a total distance being 2 km approximately. Basantapur Durbar Square is all magnificent with art, monuments, and rich history altogether.

Cycling from Basantapur Durbar Square to Boudhanath

After indulgence in the artificial beauty of Basantapur Durbar Square, our cycling journey continues to Boudhanath which takes almost 45 minutes covering a total distance of 6.5 km. Boudhanath stupa is one of the largest dome shapes of stupas with handicraft, thanka shops all around. The rooftop terrace restaurants are all here to enjoy the serenity and positive energy of Boudhanath.

Boudhanath to Bhaktapur Durbar Square

This phase has more hours cycling than other times of the day. We will reach Bhaktapur Durbar Square after cycling for 1 hour 30 minutes with a total distance of 13.5 km. Bhaktapur is an ancient city full of monuments, stone and wood carving art, positive energy, music, and much more. We will have lunch here at Bhaktapur and will end cycling here.
